A round, yellow to purple fruit with a soft to firm, juicy interior, this fruit tastes fruity and very tart, with a distinct and characteristic perfume. They can be eaten by themselves if you don’t mind the tartness, but they are also often used to compliment something sweet or creamy *or juiced and added to other juices to enhance flavor and aroma.
